KARIM TASSI

Karim Tassi is a young designer whose brand has been in existence since 1999. Originally from Casablanca, he graduated from the Institut International de Stylisme et de Modélisme in his hometown. In 1989, he moved to Paris to complete his training at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture and, alongside freelance styling assignments for ready-to-wear manufacturers, produced his first bespoke creations for private clients.

To mark the Year of Morocco in France, he presented his first collection in Paris in 1999 at the Institut du Monde Arabe. He was also invited by the University of Quito in Ecuador to create the fashion and design department. In the process, he created a collection with Latin influences, putting into practice his motto: "Art must be born from the melting pot of cultures".
