Nigerian designer Emmanuel Okoro won the fashion competition at the first edition of Africa Fashion Up for his collection inspired by the Biafran War. His brand, Emmy Kasbit, was launched in January 2014. With its minimalist design aesthetic and architectural cuts, Emmy Kasbit paints a portrait of fashion-conscious men and women who build their outfits to suit their environment.
