A designer since the age of 9, Jacques has always had a fascination and love for the fashion industry. Since winning the SA Fashion Week student competition in 2018, Jacques has completed internships at acclaimed South African design houses ERRE and Isabel De Villiers, then launched his brand The BAM Collective in 2019, which is committed to taking a bold approach to South African luxury fashion. Today, the brand explores the commercial and conceptual boundaries of clothing, drawing inspiration from the vibrancy of the South Africans around it and the emotional connection we have with the clothes we wear.
