Karim Tassi is a young designer whose brand has been in existence since 1999. Originally from Casablanca, he graduated from the International Institute of Fashion Design and Pattern Making in his hometown. In 1989, he came to Paris to complete his training at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture and, alongside freelance styling assignments for ready-to-wear manufacturers, he created his first bespoke designs for private clients.

To mark the Year of Morocco in France, he presented his first collection in Paris in 1999 at the Arab World Institute. He was also invited by the University of Quito in Ecuador to set up its fashion and design department. In the wake of this, he created a collection with Latin influences, putting into practice his motto that "art must be born from the mixing of cultures."
