
After earning a degree in engineering and management, Paolo Meroni gained extensive experience in marketing and fashion products. Working with leading manufacturers in the Italian textile industry, he was able to combine a consulting approach with a focus on developing his technical skills. He has been working at Istituto Marangoni Milano since 2004 as a professor of brand marketing and finance and control; he was appointed program director in 2010 and director of education a year later, in 2011. During these years, he also specialized in the study of andragogy by taking a postgraduate course in academic practice at Manchester Metropolitan. He has participated as a lecturer in seminars and university courses in Italy and abroad. Since 2012, Paolo Meroni has closely followed the opening of the new offices in Paris and London, then Shanghai, as group academic coordinator, and has also followed the start-up of the new Istituto Marangoni Design School in Milan, Mumbai, and Dubai. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Academy of Higher Education and an expert evaluator for the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
He was appointed Academic and Quality Assurance Director in 2021 for all Istituto Marangoni schools and, in September 2022, Director of the Paris school.
