Biography

Viviane Blassel is a French journalist, radio and television host, author, actress, and international reporter, renowned for her expertise in fashion and luxury goods. After studying literature, she trained in theater with Tania Balachova and shared the stage with actors such as Pierre Arditi. She began her acting career in theater and appeared in films, notably in Jean-Luc Godard's Pierrot le Fou in 1965.

She then continued her career in the media, first at Europe 1, where she became an important voice until 1987, then at France Info in 2004. On television, she joined TF1, where she specialized in fashion from 1990 before becoming a senior reporter. She covered fashion shows, exhibitions, cultural and artistic news, and also collaborated with LCI, Odyssée, and TV5 Monde, where she hosted the program Tendance XXI.

Author Viviane Blassel has written several books, including Passé(e) de mode ? (Out of Fashion?), which focuses on age and the perception of women, as well as a book dedicated to fashion designer Franck Sorbier.
